Golf Sim
101

A simple guide to
planning the right
golf simulator for
your space.

How Much Space Do I Need?

If you can comfortably swing your longest club in a space, a golf simulator can probably work there. Ideally, we like to see 10 feet of ceiling height, 15 feet of width, and 18 to 25 feet of depth.

Smaller rooms can still work depending on the layout, launch monitor, and whether the room needs to support both right- and left-handed golfers.

We’ve built simulator rooms in garages, basements, sheds, additions, and new home construction. Send us your dimensions and we’ll help you understand what’s possible.

Launch Monitors

The launch monitor is the technology that reads the shot and powers the simulator experience. It impacts accuracy, software, room layout, righty/lefty play, and overall cost.

Some systems sit beside the ball, some sit behind the hitting area, and others mount overhead. We’ll help you compare options from Trackman, Foresight, Uneekor, TruGolf, and others based on your space and goals.

Most residential projects start with a basement, garage, or dedicated room in a new build. We help you get the layout, technology, screen, turf, lighting, and finishes right from the start.

Golf Courses and Private Clubs

Golf Courses and Private Clubs

Add year-round value for your members, instructors, and facility.

We design and install simulator spaces for golf courses and private clubs, from single-bay teaching studios to multi-bay performance centers. The goal is a room that looks professional, operates smoothly, and matches the standard your members expect.

A simulator can support lessons, fittings, leagues, events, off-season practice, and member entertainment.

Our seven-bay installation at Hazeltine National Golf Club is one example of what a performance-level simulator space can look like when it is planned and built the right way.

Commercial Spaces and Businesses

Create a space people remember.

Golf simulators are a great fit for corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, entertainment venues, and other commercial environments. They give guests, clients, employees, or customers a reason to stay longer and engage with your space.

Commercial builds need to be durable, reliable, easy to operate, and designed for repeated use. We help plan the layout, technology, screen system, turf, safety, and user experience so the finished space works day after day.

Whether the simulator is an amenity, an employee perk, or a revenue driver, we’ll help design it around your space and goals.

Apartment Buildings and Multifamily

Apartment Buildings and Multifamily

Give residents an amenity they will actually remember.

A golf simulator adds year-round entertainment, practice, and multi-sport use to your apartment community or multifamily development. It is the kind of space that stands out during tours and gives residents another reason to use the building.

For shared environments, the simulator needs to be durable, easy to use, and simple to maintain. We help design the room, technology, screen system, turf, and controls so the space feels premium without requiring specialized staff to operate it.

Golf Professionals and Teaching Pros

Build a teaching space around the way you coach.

We design and install indoor golf studios for teaching professionals who want reliable data, clear swing video, and a room that makes lessons easier to run year-round.

Your studio can include launch monitor technology, swing cameras, proper lighting, turf, screen systems, displays, and a layout built around how you work with students.

Whether you are adding a bay to an existing facility, building a standalone studio, or creating a teaching space at home, we’ll help make the room functional, professional, and easy to use.

High School and College Golf Team

High School and College Golf Team

Give your players a place to practice year-round.

An indoor golf simulator gives high school and college teams access to shot data, course play, and structured practice, even when outdoor golf is not available.

For players, it creates more opportunities to improve. For coaches, it adds a tool for training, evaluation, and off-season development. For programs, it can also show prospective athletes that you are invested in player growth.

With a range of technology and build options, a team simulator may be more affordable than you think.

Come hit before you commit.

A golf simulator is a lot easier to plan when you can stand in the space, hit shots, and see the options in person. Visit the Golden Valley showroom to compare launch monitors, turf, wall pads, screens, and finishes side by side.

Common Questions

Who does All Seasons Golf build simulators for?

We build custom golf simulators for homeowners, builders, golf courses, private clubs, businesses, apartment communities, teaching pros, and high school and college golf programs across Minnesota.

What does a golf simulator installation typically cost?

A basic garage-style setup can start around $20,000, but most custom residential simulator builds are closer to $40,000 and up. Pricing depends on the launch monitor, room size, screen system, projector, turf, wall pads, finishes, and overall level of integration.

Do you work with builders on new construction?

Yes. We often get involved during the design or framing phase to help plan ceiling height, room dimensions, electrical, low voltage, backing, projector placement, lighting, and other details before walls close.

Can you install a simulator in a commercial space?

Yes. We install simulators in corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, apartment buildings, golf courses, private clubs, and entertainment venues. Commercial projects require additional planning around durability, ease of use, safety, traffic flow, and daily operation.

Can you build a simulator for a high school or college golf team?

Yes. Team simulators give players year-round access to practice, shot data, course play, and structured training. With a range of technology and build options, a school golf simulator may be more affordable.
